It features a grandpa creator which allows the player to create a grandpa of their choosing and select what personality they should have (grumpy, silly, sweet, etc.) which affects light dialogue during play.Cribbage is a pre-existing card game that was created in the 1600s known for its unique wooden board and scoring system. Every time I get first deal, I get the same hand: jack, king, five, six, six, three. The turn card is always a six. If I restart I get a different hand. It's honestly so obnoxious that I can't rate the game higher.
Fun at first, until you realize it has no AI and just cheats with our determined cards.
Fun times! I have to set it up from scratch on my new phone, though. Wish there was a way to have the very same grandpas, since I made them look like mine. Very satisfied with game play. Please update it for newer Android version!
blatantly, blatantly cheats. i can beat the 4/5 difficulty one maybe 1 in 10 times and it's from me getting lucky. deck stacking is obvious to the point where i can successfully predict his hand from the starter card plus his first card in the play about half the time. the game is adorable but your opponent getting 10+ point hands literally every hand sucks all the fun out of it. i wish the difficulties were just how optimally the grandpa plays the play and makes crib discards, not rigged.
it's sucks
I had this game before, and it seemed ok, but after three games on Android the computer keeps winning over and over. It doesn't seem possible to get the hands "Grandpa" is getting, I think he deals from the bottom of the deck. Wasted my money.
Honestly, very frustrating. I accidentally hit the Back arrow during the grandpa creation process and it axed everything instead of auto-saving (or at LEAST keeping the app in the background). Then it dealt me multiple ridiculous hands that I could not form more than 0-2 points with, despite setting the difficulty to the second-easiest level. Lastly, upon rage-quitting after that loss, the game's music continued to play at the home screen. Why'd it continue *there* but not when I first hit Back?
Not random. Also does not always let you score all your points. Incredibly annoying Game play.
Was never close to either grandpa because both of them married twice and lived with the second wife. This app at least gives me some vibe about how grandpas spends time with their grandkids I guess. Cool.
This is a great game but it won't give me the option to remove the snowman you play against. It overrides my grandpa with a snowman no matter what I do!!! INCREDIBLY ANNOYING
